Incorrect specification of the format

The image and print quality are very good. Unfortunately, the format is given completely wrong. The description does contain a note that the image is printed with a logo on cotton paper. What is missing, however, is the information that therefore the paper no longer has a common format and that there are even lines from ballpoint pens on the paper. So you are forced to cut the picture to size yourself. This is very difficult because of the cotton paper and the printed logo. It is therefore impossible to cut the picture shown on the homepage to size yourself. No matter how you cut it yourself, you either cut off the top edge or half of the logo. Due to the strokes of ballpoint pens on the sides of the paper, it was then also impossible to cut the lateral edges evenly. For the price, a disappointment.

Hi Markus, I'm sorry to hear you're not satisfied with the print. Just to add some comments to your review. The white border exists to ensure you can mount the print in a frame, without having to touch the printed image and risk damaging it - like all prints of this nature.

With prints like these, we always suggest you take the print to a picture framer, who will cut a mount to fit the image to your choosing. Some customers have the mount cut to include the logo, others don't, it's down to your own personal preference. You should never need to cut the paper, as it is not designed to be cut without the correct equipment.

The pen mark is the cutting line. These prints are produced by a fine art printer, and he cuts them by hand, so while each paper size may differ, the image size should always be the sizes stated - A3, or A2. If it's not, then please do let us know. Stuart
